Changes to the Mental Health program

Dear Patient,

We have been facing consistent increased demand for our mental health services over the past few years. In order for our team to continue to serve all patients, in a sustainable manner, we are changing our service model in 2024.

You can still complete your current course of therapy (of up to 8 sessions). However, after the final session with your therapist, you will need to wait a minimum of 12 months from the date of your last appointment to access the mental health program again.

If you experience a major life change within the 12-month waiting period, we will consider what options may be available to you through a referral from your provider to our system navigator.
We encourage you to access our team’s other services, like group sessions throughout the year, to help. As part of the changes to mental health services, we may be expanding our group offerings, and offering single session therapy.

We recognize that change is difficult. These changes are necessary in order to meet growing demand for our services. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Sincerely,

Management at CFFM FHT
