Medical Learners
As a clinical teaching site with McMaster University, The Centre for Family Medicine offers a unique teaching environment within a Family Health Team. This teaching program contributes to the quality of care provided to patients of the Family Health Team, and provides training and learning opportunities, based on a collaborative care model to new family physicians in Ontario.
CFFM is an approved site for electives in family medicine. Once you have been approved by your program and submitted your required paperwork, you can request CFFM as your preferred elective site. We cannot approve a rotation until your request has been processed by your university and cannot guarantee a spot for you in advance of this process.
