UNDERSTANDING AND MANAGING EMOTIONS gROUP

This is an 8 session DBT-informed group focusing on understanding where emotions come from, and how to work with or change strong emotional responses.

Do you have difficulty managing your emotions?

Do you find emotions confusing overwhelming?

Are you unable to make decisions or solve problems due to conflicting emotions?

If so, this group could be helpful for you.

This 8 session Dialectal Behaviour Therapy (DBT) informaed skills group will focus on:

  • How emotions work in the brain and body.
  • The function of emotions.
  • How to change unwanted emotions.
  • How to build positive emotions.
  • When: Wednesdays, September 10 - October 29 (8 weeks) 1:00pm - 3:00pm
  • Where:  25 Joseph Street, Kitchener, ON (entrance off of David Street)
  • Facilitators: William Corrigan and Dami Adekunte
