If we have received your email consent and you are missing our emails, it is likely they are in your junk folder, or that you have unsubscribed at some point for them.

I am over 80. How do I get my COVID-19 Vaccine?

The Ontario Government announced this week that people over 80 will be able to get their vaccine starting March 15. Please visit the Region of Waterloo web-site for how to book.

Please do not call our office yet, as we do not have details and can not help you book at this time.

Residents can register in two ways:


By phone: For those unable to register online please call the Region’s Service First Call Centre at 519-575-4400.

*Online registration is the fastest way to register. Please be patient as the call centre experiences a high volume of calls.

Pre-registration and vaccination is currently open to:

  • Adult recipients of chronic home health care
  • Adults 80 years of age and older
  • Essential caregivers in long-term care or retirement home
  • Health care workers
  • Indigenous Adults
  • Seniors congregate setting – staff, residents and essential caregivers
  • Staff in long-term care or retirement home

Does CFFM have COVID-19 vaccines available? 

Nowe do not have COVID-19 vaccines in our office. We will likely have more details mid to late March. Keep checking our web-site as it will be the first to be updated, and will have more updated information than you will get calling our office. We will update you clearly by email when we know have more information. Consider signing up for our email consent.

Where can I get more information about my own situation?

The best place to learn about how our Region will roll out vaccines is found on their web-site. It’s translatable into many languages too!

Is there a wait list I need to sign up for the COVID-19 vaccines? 

No, there is no wait list. Individuals will be prioritized based on provincial guidelines and that will be announced through Public Health, Ontario Ministry of Health. If you are over 80, or part of the first priority group, you can now pre-register with the Region of Waterloo at the link above.
