There is a shortage of High Dose Flu Shots province wide in Ontario (at Physician offices and Pharmacies).

We have plenty of the regular standard-dose Quadrivalent Flu Shot (covering 4 strains of influenza) that will be available for you to receive. The recommendation is for patients aged 65+ to receive the Quadrivalent Flu Shot when the High Dose Flu Shot is not available.

Please DO NOT call us to inquire whether the High Dose Flu Shot will be available at the time of your appointment. We unfortunately do not know if or when it will be made available to us again. Our doses are allocated and sent to us from the Region of Waterloo Public Health Unit.

You’re welcome to call your local Pharmacy to see if they have any High Dose Flu Shots available, but again, this shortage is Province wide and they’re also running out of stock.

 Thank you
