Diabetes Management is handled by three specialty clinics.

 

Chronic Disease Management Clinic
Patients who have well controlled diabetes usually are seen every three months by the chronic disease nurse and the family doctor.

DM Clinic
The “DM” Clinic staff  see patient’s whose blood sugars are higher than desired and focuses on the ABC’s of Diabetes – A1c, Blood pressure and Cholesterol.

MUD Clinic
The “MUD” clinic staff see patients who may require insulin to lower their blood sugars.
